Sparkly Sporty

In my opinion there should be more colors in The Netherlands. More colorful buildings and streets are a must. Like this pink wall in Rotterdam that is made by Sandra Kleine Straatman (fashion blogger) aka more style than fashion. It fels like I was in California. Not only the location was good but also the sun was shinning, so it gave me a California dream.

I like to sparkle my clothes a little bit during the winter and especially the month December. This sweater from Monki is just a must have, cause it is not too shiny. Most people don’t like to buy a sparkly item. They think that you can only wear it during the holidays, but that is not true in my opinion. Try new things and wear sparkle with sporty like I did for this blogpost. These trousers from Zara are everything for me, cause they are so comfy. I didn’t want to make this outfit too sporty, so I wear this outfit with my all time favorite boots.

Easy outfit

We all have those days when you don’t want be overdressed or you try outfit after outfit,  but nothing fits good. Especially when I wake up for school I don’t want to take too much time to wear something special. These trouwers from Costes Fashion are just a must have for those days, because it is super comfortable and you can wear it with everything. I choose for a oversized sweater from Bershka, I already wore it as a dress (you can find the picture of it on my Instagram.) You can also wear it with a top, blazer and boots or heels to give it a chique touch.

Rocking the new season

Hola guys! It is always hard for me to find the perfect skirt, that fits well and looks good. This skirt from PrettyLittleThing just has everything that I need. The fabiric is polyester and the inside is made from suede to keeps me warm. I really like the studs and zips on it. The fake leather gives the outfit an edgy boost. I match it with a jumper from Brave Soul in the color old rose and black boots from Costes Fashion. I like to match cute pieces with edgy items. This was my first fall outfit post I hope you liked it. More coming soon!

Merky Paper

I miss the old Kanye” erop.

Samira over Merky Paper

Merky Paper is vorig opgezet door mij, Samira Imaankaf. Een creatieveling uit Amsterdam. Altijd als iemand jarig was, maakte ik mijn eigen kaarten. Ik hou erg van pun grapjes.

{Definitie van pun. Incase you don’t know}

*A play on words. Generally a pun takes a word that is quite understandable in context and replaces it with a homonym (same-sounding word) to create an entirely new meaning, or replaces a word with a similar-sounding one to the same effect.*

And please. Don’t send texts, send cards ❤

Going green

Starting this summer with one of my favorite dresses at the moment. The one I’m wearing in this post is just another level for me! Something about the combination of the color, feminine look and the cold shoulder aka open-shoulder “the trend of this summer.” Another reason why I love this dress is because it moves. Every step I take makes the dress comes to life when I walk. It’s just a comfortable feeling what is very important to me.

For this look I chose to pair it with heels from River Island (old collection) and a bag from Mango with golden studs. And to give it a special touch I pair it with a scarf from Costes Fashion. I’ll show you how you can wear it to make every outfit super casual. And of course you can wear this dress with flats or ankle boots for a casual outfit. I don’t need to tell you how much I love that.

Blue striped with a fuchsia touch

It’s that time again, finally the sun is gradually showing its face and flowers are starting to bloom. Spring is just on! I love the transition from crispy cold winter mornings to the pleasant feeling of being able to go out and wear fewer layers and show some more skin. This time I didn’t wear layers, but keep it by a very simple look. The trend of this spring/summer is the classic blue/white striped blouse. I love the unique combination of the classic fabaric with the modern fit. I’m also in love with those classic sandals from Mango. I just like it when all those classic items come back.

Chic Casual

It’s the little details that can quickly take an outfit from super casual to ultra chic, it might be time to switch it up from your go-to jeans and tee look. Read on for more details on how I dress chic casual.

First, let’s just talk about the clear color of the dress and the little details of it. I love how it gives me a touch of chic and super casual in the same way. A cool dress like this is a great way to keep the look feminine too. Next is the satin bomber jacket from the Zara. The fabric is very soft and keeps me warm, and the color match with the color of the dress what is very important to me. I’m that kind of woman who have too many bags and still don’t have enough. This bag is from the new spring summer collection of New Look. They have it also in a black one, the one that I have is the nude one.
